Today, we reached a milestone in this process!  We filed for our building permit!!!

It generally takes the city anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months to approve building plans.  During that time, we will be busy putting the project out for bid, receiving proposals from general contractors, evaluating those proposals, and making our decisions on how best to proceed. 

We are not breaking ground today... but we have come a long way and we think we are getting close.

More details in coming weeks!   The plans have changed somewhat over the past couple of months.  However, for the most part, the project is the same and still includes a sanctuary to seat up to 1,000 people!!!
